Timothy’s Frozen Yogurt in Richmond (Steveston)

Timothy's Frozen Yogurt store

After trying Qoola Yogurt + Fruit, I had to try go back and try Timothy’s frozen yogurt again. I’ve had it before, but I couldn’t remember how the yogurt tasted. It  had been such a long time since my last visit,  I wanted to make sure my memory serves me correctly before writing this post.

Timothy’s has been selling yogurt in Steveston since 1989. They have a long history in the community and the people love their yogurt. You can tell from the constant line up outside their store.

They don’t serve the fruits on top of the frozen yogurt. Instead, they blended fruit into the frozen yogurt. The staff places a block of frozen yogurt and a cup of fruits into a blender to mix and then dispenses it into a cup or waffle. I enjoyed having my frozen yogurt in a fresh waffle cone. The waffle cones are always made fresh and sometimes the waffle cones are still served warm!

I ordered a peach frozen yogurt. There was peach flavor throughout the yogurt, instead of just having the peach as a topping. I felt that my peach frozen yogurt on a waffle cone for $4 was a way better deal than Qoola’s. I would give a thumbs up to Timothy’s over Qoola because of the taste and value!

Five Loaves Rating:
Value: 8/10
Quality: 8/10
Overall: 8/10

Verdict: Great value frozen yogurt treat for the Vancouver heat wave!

I usually only get the Gelato from Timothy’s, never tried the frozen yogurt. I’m going to have to go give it a try. I think I like the idea of having the flavor mixed into the yogurt as opposed to a topping also.

Hi Bill… I definitely recommend trying Timothy’s yogurt.

You know, when I go to Steveston, I usually go to this place for dessert; however, never paid attention to the place’s name. And guess what? I was in Steveston this past weekend and your post remind me I should go there! :D
