Next Hell’s Kitchen winner to work at Araxi!

Although there had been a few rumors floating around lately, it’s now official: Everyone’s favourite Chef, Gordon Ramsey announced that the winner of the next season’s Hell’s Kitchen will go to work as head chef of Araxi up in Whistler!

This is exciting because I love going to Araxi! Ridiculously impeccable service and truly unbelieveable food are the norm every time I’ve been there. Araxi is easily in my top 3 favourite restaurants, the other two being Boneta, and La Buca (La Buca is a bit easier on the visa).

Gordon Ramsay

Hell’s Kitchen has a two hour premiere set to air July 21 Tuesday 8/7c on Fox. Ramsay and the crew shot some scenes at the Whistler restaurant.

Love La Buca (we always make a point of going once or twice when we’re up there) but haven’t tried Araxi (had a hard time convincing the man about value haha!).

Thanks for the tip! Gives us a reason to watch the food network again.

Yeah, Araxi is a little on the pricier side.. probably not a place you eat at everyday.. but it’s worth going at least once! I heard that even the great Gordon Ramsey said that it was one of the best fine dining restaurants in Canada!

I am trying to find the date that the hells kitchen winner will be starting at araxi, does anyone know anything about this?

I don’t know the official start date, but I plan to go to Araxi soon as well!
The new chef will start sometime after this season ends (late October), and WILL be cooking during the Olympics in 2010 (Feb. 12).. hope that sorta helps!
